Guernsey Finance taps McLeod as South Africa representative

Guernsey Finance has appointed its first dedicated representative in South Africa to promote the channel island’s services to the investment and asset management communities. Grant McLeod is tasked with building on the island’s financial services sector promotion agency’s success of the past few years, both in South Africa as well as more widely in sub-Saharan Africa.

McLeod brings over two decades’ worth of financial services experience in South Africa to his new role. According to his LinkedIn profile, he joins Guernsey Finance from Skye Wealth Management where he’d worked since 2016, providing investment risk management and forensic accounting services to high net worth investors and law firms. Prior to that, his career included positions at a number of high-profile wealth and asset management organizations in South Africa including Barclays, Ashburton, and Alexander Forbes.
