Marking Adenia Partners‘ first deal in Morocco, the private equity firm has teamed up with French DFI Proparco to acquire an eleven-year-old business proving corporate catering and other related services to more than 180 clients in five countries.  Under the umbrella of the Ansamble brand, Overseas Catering Services is now the second-largest catering services provider in Morocco. The company also provides cleaning services in Senegal under the Alizés brand, childcare services in Morocco under the A Deux Pas brand, and operates the Brioche Dorée and La Croissanterie franchises in Morocco.

Adenia’s investment is being made via the private equity fund manager’s fourth fund which closed with  €230 million in June 2017. The financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed, although Adenia typically invests a minimum of €10 million in the deals it backs. Stéphane Bacquaert, the Managing Partner who heads Adenia’s Casablanca office, and his colleague Christophe Scalbert, take seats on OCS’s board. Proparco will be represented by Daniel Outré, a senior private equity investment officer at the DFI.
