Vuna Partners‘ acquisition of SA Steelpack Solutions adds a second company to the portfolio of the Johannesburg-based investment firm’s first fund. The private equity fund has acquired the South African tinplate packaging manufacturer from its existing shareholders, many of whom have been members of the firm’s management team since it began operations in 2014. How much the fund has agreed to pay for the business has not been disclosed.

According to the statement announcing the deal, Steelpack has been enjoying consistent, impressive revenue growth on the back of strong customer demand which the firm has been able to satisfy with increased production capacity matched with faster, flexible production cycles and printing processes.
