EBRD appoints new Country Director for Morocco

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has appointed Marie-Alexandra Veilleux-Laborie’s successor to head the development bank’s operations in Morocco. Based in Casablanca, EBRD’s new Country Director for Morocco will be Antoine Sallé de Chou, an 8-year veteran of the Bank who currently heads EBRD’s operations in neighbouring Tunisia.Sallé de Chou joined EBRD in December 2013 as Senior Counsellor for Strategy and Policy based in London. In April 2017, he became the Head of EBRD’s operations in Tunisia, leading a 27-member team and overseeing the scale-up of the Bank’s investment levels by a factor of 2.5, deploying an annual average of €200 million over the last 4 years.”
